This film presents the doctor, the pathologist Bennet Omalu who is from Nigeria and he lives in the USA. When he was a child, he wanted to be an American citizen. At the same time, Mike Webster, an American football player, who was in very bad conditions, he was devastated, sad, frustrated, he was destroying himself etc. One day, he died.  Bennet Omalu conducted the autopsy of Mike Webster, and he was very surprised why young men died and why his body was very devastated? Omalu decided to conserve his brain and examine more. But his work place didn’t have enough money to do it and Omalu paid all his own saved money.
But, the similar cases appeared, next professionals American football players who were young, went crazy, they couldn’t sleep, they were very aggressive and finally they committed suicide.  Omalu found a new disease typical of the boxers and of professional American football players. He called it chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). It is a disease caused by head injuries during matches and one can diagnoses it after death. Even helmet doesn’t protect the brain in 100%. Omalu wanted to disclose it, but he and his wife were in danger, because the National Football League wanted withhold it, because as far as the large sum of money is concerned. But finally everything ended well, Omalu became an Amercinan citizen and the National Football League admitted that Omalu was right.

Motif of love

Today, I want to tell you about motif of love. It is omnipresent in literature, in movies, in plays, in songs. It is basically in every aspects of our life. Here may appear the question, why? The response is very simple, because without love, there would be nothing.
Love has been present in early works of literature, such as Greek and Roman mythology, for example, Penelope from Homer’s Odyssey, who was waiting twenty years for her husband Odysseus return. Why was she waiting for him so long? Because she loved him.
Romeo and Juliet, a tragedy written by William Shakespeare, is a base example of unfulfilled love. Two young people fell in love each other at first sight, but unfortunately, theirs families were warring, and they couldn’t get married. However, the young promised the love and got married without their parent’s knowledge or consent. Soon afterwards, Juliet feigned death in order to avoid an arranged marriage with another man, her relative. Romeo didn’t know anything about it, and he believed that his beloved was really dead. He couldn’t live without her and killed himself. When Juliet knew that Romeo was dead, she was broken-hearted and she also took her own life.

As far as song are concerned, the majority of songs is about love fulfilled and unfulfilled. They talk about the longing, the desire and in general about love, for example:
The time of my life from the movie Dirty dancing
Bryan Adams - (Everything I Do) I Do It For You
Elvis Presley - Always On My Mind
Andrea Bocelli ft. Giorgia - Vivo Per Lei
Michael Bolton - When a man loves a woman
Kelly Family - I Can't Help Myself and much more.

So, I come to the conclusion that people aren’t made for lonely life. Everybody needs someone close to love and care for him, because like in the song of The Beatles “Love is all you need”. It give us a large dose of energy and a will to live.
