Changes in the Education System

Today a litte bit about education.
If I had the possibility to change something in the education system, I would like to…
1.      … make the classes more practical so that pupils have the opportunity to learn by experience, that is mean when they can make chemical experiments (of course under the supervision of a teacher) or take care of a little animal for a week, they can be more interested and involved in the study, so when they are interested, they remember better.
2.      … increase the number of teachers to make extra classes so that the pupils who have problems with some subject and their parents not have enough money to their children could go to private lessons. Moreover, I would like to create the possibility to take part in individual extra classes especially for those children who have really great problems whom they cannot catch up their self and for children who are very shy and have the problems with the adaptation of the group and next so that they could participate in biggest group in the future.
3.      … give the opportunity to children to choose the reading list in order to convince them to read. Every student would choose one book that he really want to read and analyse, but the chose had to be approved by a teacher.
4.      … make the classes taking interests of children into consideration, for example: medicine classes, movie classes, football classes etc.
5.      … make English or the other foreign language classes irrespective of pupils’ age, that is mean at the beginning one should make a very deep study of language proficiency and when one student not manage with higher level, one should give him the possibility to change classes to the lower level so that he could catch up and in order to avoid stress and languages problems.

Shakespeare

Today I would like to tell you about interesting thing about Shakespeare.
First of all, some facts:
William Shakespeare was born in 1564. He was an English poet, playwright, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language.
He wrote approximately 38 plays, 154 sonnets and two long narrative poems.
Although he was popular during his lifetime, he reached the greatest fame after death.
He was one of the few playwrights who have successfully created both comedies and tragedies.
He is also the most frequently quoted writer of the English-speaking world.
He created about 600 neologisms, which entered into everyday life.
Some of his most well-known works are: Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Makbet, King Lear, All’s Well That Ends Well or The Comedy of Errors.
I found a web page in which there are about 50 interesting things about Shakespeare, but I have chosen 10 really interesting for me:
1.      His younger brother was also an actor, but he didn’t make strong presence in theater history.
2.      Shakespeare was wealthy. He was a shareholder in a prosperous theater.
3.      Shakespeare created a lot of new words like eyeball, assassination.
4.      Researchers have still debate whether his sonnets are autobiographical or not.
5.      He didn’t take care of his daughter’s education, because Judith was illiterate and Susan was only able to write her name.
6.      He don’t have descendent, because his children were dead early and they didn’t have their own children.
7.      Some people, especially poets really hated him, Wolter said that Hamlet is the work of drunken savage.
8.      The American President Abraham Lincoln really loved Shakespeare’s creation. His murderer was a famous Shakespearean actor.
9.      Women and girls couldn’t perform in the theatre in Shakespeare’s lifetime so all the female parts were written for boys. It was only much later, during the Restoration that the first woman appeared on the English stage.
10.  In Shakespeare's time there was no electricity as today and he had to use the candles, but candles were very expensive then, so they were used only for emergencies, for a short time. Shakespeare and most of writers in the daytime, but in the evening they socialized.

My cold cheesecake with strawberries

Today, I would like to present my recipe for cold cheesecake.

Ingredients:
-          A kilo of cheese natural in a bucket without additives (ex. sugar)
-          200 ml of a 30% cream
-          1 package of vanilla sugar with real vanilla
-          A half of cup of powdered sugar
-          2 heaped tablespoons of gelatin
-          1 package of frozen strawberries
-          2 strawberry jellies

Directions:
Dissolve gelatine in ½ glass of hot water, set aside until it cools to room temperature. Prepare jelly in a small bowl according to packet directions and set aside until jelly starts to thicken. Using an electric mixer beat sour cream until smooth. Add cheese natural and mix together with cream. Gradually add sugar and vanilla sugar and mix it again. When gelatine has cooled down, pour it into mixed mass and mix again until combined. Pour whole mass into a cake pan, put strawberries on the top and refrigerate. When jelly is ready then pour it over refrigerated base with strawberries and refrigerate until set.

Because homemade is better :)
